TANGO CLASSES

Group Tango classes in Brighton & London with SUR TANGO

Our tango classes in Brighton and London are an invitation to a journey of discovery and transformation, where every dance is a unique and unrepeatable experience. For over 15 years, our Tango collective has been dedicated to sharing the language of tango across Argentina, Europe, and Latin America. In our approach, tango is much more than learning steps—it is a process of self-discovery, a way to connect with the body, explore emotions, and communicate through movement.

We see tango as a powerful tool for personal growth: it strengthens self-esteem, reduces stress, and helps us move through obstacles with greater resilience and love. Each class combines technical tools with deeper exploration, encouraging participants to push their limits and find their own dance.

Together, we work through four essential aspects of tango:

Graphic of a black skull with a white cross inside it, and a red bandana over the top of the skull.

Technique (Fire):
the spark of action and initiation.

Black and white drawing of a human face with long hair, beard, and mustache, resembling historical or biblical figure.

Structure (Earth):
the foundation & grammar of
the dance.

Outline of a person riding a bicycle with a basket, on a city street with buildings and trees.

Connection(Air):
flow of communication &
shared presence.

A black and white line drawing of a woman riding a bicycle with a basket.

Musicality (Water):
the emotional current where everything merges.
